Highly Illogical

There HAS to be something fundamentally wrong going on with the weather. On the Easter weekend, I was lounging in my new bikini on my backyard's balcony trying to get a bit of a tan. I had to get inside at 4 after a bit more than a half hour because I was getting sunburned. That was a month ago. There weren't even leaves on the trees yet. Now it's nearly May, the leaves are finally showing, the tulips are in bloom and the lilacs are about to, and I'm looking at a flurry of snowflakes breezing past my office window. Big fluffy flakes. With brisk wind. It's a real mini-blizzard. It looks like Christmas time. There is something terribly wrong with that picture. You'd swear Mother Nature was having PMS.

I think I might have to take a new subscription at the tanning salon after all. It sure doesn't appear that I'll be able to acquire a basic tan for Cancun the normal way.

Sigh.
