Groundhog Day

Apparently, we're gonna have an early spring in Canada because Whatsit Willie in Ontario didn't see his shadow. It made me laugh out loud because the reason the groundhog didn't see his shadow is because there was a frigging SNOW STORM. Yeah, sure sign of an early spring, folks! :-D

The whole concept is useless anyway; there is ALWAYS 6 more weeks of winter. The simple fact is that there's no such thing as an early spring in Canada. US? Maybe, But definitely not in Quebec in any case. I'm from March 23 and I can't remember a year where it wasn't still winter at my birthday, ever.

Anyway, my salutations to the poor groundhog who had dig his way out of his hole.
