So, a transcript of my comments:

- OK that was a fucking huge continuity mistake about Jane's death here. I remember JR said somewhere that it was an error, I need to find that post.
- I actually enjoyed that convo, but this shit better not change if Jane does becaome corporeal again because I'm going to lose my shit.

- Rhage just made Mary promise to stay behind with Bitty if something happened to him. I'm sobbing like a baby right now.
- V feels his relationship is too clinical. HA! I knew it. (and he's right too). Don't worry V baby, you can still cuddle Butch. Cuddle with him more!
- Was Blay's mom's name truly Lyric? I could have sworn it was something else.
- P.S. Payne is incredibly sidelined is this series.

- So book's nearly over, we just need some closure scenes for Throe - can't wait to see how he finds out about the house -, for Xcor and for Jo - I'm still sure she must have seen Rhage's dragon.
- Bitty "not dating ever". *snort* Such. A. Surprise.
- Oooooh, so Jo is Manny's full sister? But wait, that doesn't make sense; Butch was born in 69 and Manny is older han him, so Manny can't have been born in the seventies!! Like this timeline wasn't fucked up enough already.
- *snort* You want to let go of the idea of finding vampires to find your family instead? You have a surprise coming, Jo darling.
- Isn't it too soon for Xcor to wake? I thought Chosen took place in December, which is like two months away?
CONCLUSIONS:
OK, so it's over already. It seems we won't get Throe's reaction until the next book after all. I kept expecting Layla to pop over to the Tomb to try and feed Xcor so he'd wake up but it never happened. Oh God, shit is SO going to hit the fan in the next book. I can't imagine how the hell's that's going to work. I already know Qhuinn's gonna be a class 1 a-hole but seriously, finding the mother of your children is in love, and secretly met for months, with the male who almost killed you and your king a year before? And how is Beth gonna react, the woman she sat with for days was secretly consorting with the man who tried to kill your husband?
Humans are also (finally) asking questions about vampires. I remember JR saying humans were gonna find out soon, but the ending of this book is kinda ambiguous. Jo's inevitably gonna fall in with them as well since she's described as "pretrans" so the line of inquiry might no go much further with them. Frankly, I can't imagine what this world would be like with humans knowing of vampires' existence.
Third question mark is about how V's issues are gonna evolve. Rhage,s suicidal run just after he told him he was gonna die, then finding Xcor, then the children thing, then Layla's delivery, then his mom,s disappearance.... of yeah, all the conditions for a major freakout are there. He's even got the eye twitch again, and apparently isn't sleeping. Bad sign. Someone just told me he reaches out to his subs in The Chosen, which hello, is SO not gonna fix his issues about affection and closeness?? And God although I made a bit of peace with him and Jane, they still feel like such a poor match, I have no interest in reading about the two of them unless Butch is involved in a similar way as in Lover Unleashed. Sigh.
OK, now unto Blood Kiss. I need some Butch (and V *squee*). I'm curious to see if we see any hints of his issues and concerns in Butch's story.
